Im back - at least for today

Yes I know it's been even longer of a hiatus but life has a nasty way of creeping up on oneself and getting in the way of doing the things we love.

Anyway, over at Just Add Ink this week the wonderful Paula (who just happens to be my upline and have amazing talent) gave us the challenge to use black and white.   I LOVE black and white so had to find some time to create.

Here is what I came up with.   I made the black card here first, and then decided that I needed to do a reverse design so made another using a white base.     Would love your opinion on which one you like best.

Happy card making

Card:  Basic Black and Whisper White
Ink:     Basic Black
Stamps:   Strength and Hope
Other:  Lattice embossing folder, clear embossing powder, white embosssing powder, heat and stick powder, dazzling diamonds

  1. these photos Julz- DO NOT do this cards justice- they are extra stunning in real life :-)

  2. I agree with Debi - these are both totally gorgeous IRL. Was hard to chose a favourite, but if I had to - the white on black would be my personal one. Thanks for playing at JAI this week Julz. Hope to see more of you!

  3. If I really had to choose - the white on black is super stunning. Thanks for playing along with the JAI Black and White Challenge.

  4. They both look gorgeous Julz - I think I would go with white on black too, I just prefer the overall lighter look. Thanks for playing at Just Add Ink.

  5. Yep..the second one for me to Julz, but both are stunning...a very elegant take on this weeks JAI challenge, glad you could join us!

  6. I love them both, Julz! But I like the black on white best :-) These both look so elegant - you go girl!
