I was introduced to Stampin' Up! around the middle of 2010 after my daughter attended a workshop hosted by the wonderful Paula Dobson. I subsequently booked my own workshop and fell in love with the products.
When Paula asked me to join her team I was initially unsure. I didn't believe I was a crafter, and in fact until I started stamping I would never have believed I could produce nice things. As a child growing up my mother was a fabulous sewer, knitter, leather worker, you name it she did it, and very very well. I however, did not receive the talent gene. My sewing and knitting skills leave a lot to be desired and I really cannot draw apart from stick figures and flowers.
Stampin' Up! has opened up the most amazing world to me. I have an outlet I can turn to when I just want to escape. The very process of making a project I have found to be a wonderful stress release.
